Platforms and Devices
This partial list does not represent any endorsement by Morton Community Bank, but rather is a listing of platforms and devices we know are in common use.
Browsers
Internet Explorer
Recent versions of Internet Explorer are supported and should work without problems. The Internet Explorer pop up blocker should not interfere with any internet banking functions. However, some pop up blockers which are included with add on toolbars can prevent online bill pay, check images, or e-Statements from working properly.
Firefox
Recent versions of Firefox are supported and should work without problems.
Chrome
Chrome should work in most cases. Some users have reported difficulties with check and statement images and Remote Deposit while using Chrome.
Opera
Opera should work in most cases. Users have not reported any difficulties. If you are using the Opera Mini browser on an Android smart phone, see the information below under Smart Phones/Android.
Safari
Safari works very well for Personal Internet Banking. Users have not reported any difficulties with Business Internet Banking.
Dolphin
Dolphin is a browser designed specifically for Android mobile devices. There are no known issues with its functionality with the internet banking system. The browser works easily and quickly and incorporates a number of features not found in other mobile browsers.
Smart Phones
iPhone
iPhones will work correctly with no modifications.
Android
There are many different phones using the Android operating system. Generally, the functionality of internet banking will depend upon the version of the operating system, rather the model of the phone itself.
Earlier versions of the Android operating system should work with the default browser without modifications. Android systems 2.2 or later probably will not work with the default browser which comes with the phone. Android phones will operate correctly with the Opera Mini browser or the Dolphin browser, which are available from the Android Market or App Center or Google Play on the phone. If you use the Opera Mini browser, you may wish to go to Settings/Privacy and turn off "Remember Passwords" for security reasons.
Some users have reported the Dolphin browser works more easily with the internet banking system than does the Opera browser. Dolphin also has a feature to remove temporary internet files on exit, which is not available in the default browsers or Opera. Removal of the temporary internet files increases the security of your internet banking.
Generally, users have preferred the Dolphin browser over others.
Tablets

The iPad works well with all internet banking applications. By default, the iPad will generally capitalize the first letter of an Access ID typed into the Access ID field. The auto correct feature must be turned off or the first character must be forced to a lower case character if necessary.

Some Acer tablets may have an auto correct feature which will capitalize the first letter of an Access ID typed into the Access ID field. The auto correct feature must be turned off or the first character must be forced to a lower case character if necessary.
